A group of local investors who purchased an Industriplex office-warehouse last week say the building will undergo renovations and be ready to go back on the leasing market in two months.
BHBL Properties LLC purchased the Crestmount Drive property, the former home of Detel Cos., from Daryl A. Deshotel Properties LLC for $1,065,000, according to court documents filed last Friday. Detel, founded by Daryl Deshotel, Deshotel, was acquired by a North Carolina company last year.
Demolition of some interior walls in the building will begin in a month, says Grey Mullins, a commercial real estate agent and an investor in BHBL Properties, and the group is looking to put the office-warehouse on the market for lease in two months. Brent Struthers, of Beau Box Commercial real estate, represented the seller.
The timing and location were drivers for him buying the property, says Mullins, who previously purchased a building and an office condo at the Highland Business Park.
